Although it says it all n the name KRIS KROSS!!!!!!!!!!
yea man that go hard. i ain't neva did it but i will bring it back oh so hard. lol.lmao. do whatchu do babe.
Yeah, VERY early 90's.
I was 16 in 1989 and a got a plastic Swatch watch and I always wore it with the buckle on the top of my wrist. In 1992 when I was 19 I started wearing my hat backwards, and continued wearing my Swatch watch with the buckle on the top of my wrist. I kept these going untill I was 23. I guess I wanted to look "bad" but I was always very polite and very active helping the community, so I was not "bad" at all.
kris kross clothes are so wack now but i bet that they had fun doing it back in da day!!!☺☺☺
back'n da day man i wore kris kross like my life depended on it
I always wore my hat backwards. In 1999 when I was 17 I starting wearing a visor backwards AND upside down! I did this for a little while. I don't think I was trying to look bad...I was a very nice kid too. I guess I just liked the style (whatever). I also wore my watch with the buckle on the top of my wrist too. I guess the current trend is the sideways hat, but my backwards and upside down visor was more stupid.
I still wear my watch with the buckle on the top. and my hat backward. the hat to the side is just stupid im 17
Whats the point?
Dis is hot i luv dis omg:D
http://www.creativitymovement.net/ is a site with all the answers to todays problems
I know kids who still do this, only with hoodies.
wow they look really weirddd:))
wow your amazing lol
I was recently looking back at family photos from the mid 90s, every single picture with me in it from when I was 15 through 20 years old I was wearing my North Carolina hat backwards. I ALWAYS wore my backwards hat all the time. That was the only backwards thing I did.
I'm 17 and me and alot of other teens wear our hats to the side. I guess there always has to be something to wear differently, just like the backwards trend of the 90's.
Kris Kross looked so adorable in their backwards clothes! Guys still do wear their hats to the sides, I don't think I've seen any guys recently that wear a hat the normal way. This is one of those clothes trends that if someone did it today people would be like "WTF are they doing?!!!?!"
I tried this once. To tell the truth, a zipper rubbing against the back of you is not comfortable.
Hey, My older brother also wore his watch backwards (buckle on top of wrist)in the 90's. His hat was always backwards too. I'm 16 and I wear my watch backwards (buckle on top) but I always wear my hat sideways.

HAHA I know a couple people that still wear their watches with the buckles on top. My dad is one, but he would've in his late 20's when this was popular. At my school we sometimes where our hoodies backwards or put our backpack in the front.
The backwards hat trend was huge in the mid to late 90's. I was a waitress at a restaurant and we often served groups of teenagers and they always had their hats on backwards. Being an old person I always thought it was disrespectful to have hats on inside, and backwards made it worse. And to make matters even worse they always sat in the smoking section and most smoked. But they were usually all nice kids, so I got used to accepting their trends.
I remember when I was very small my older brother did lots of things backwards when he was around 16 or 17 (this was the mid 90's). His hat was always backwards, his watch was always worn buckle side on top, and speaking of smoking he even held his cigarette in a backwards way. I don't know what kind of statement he was making, but he was a great older brother, very cool, and a very nice kid. Who knows why he did those things, stupid to say the least.
Once at summer camp, I went to a backwards dressup party. I even ate backwards - dessert first! No one talked backwards, because it was too difficult.
My school had a backwards day, the class schedule was backwards, we did everything backwards. Since I always wore my hat backwards and my Swatch watch with the buckle on top of my wrist on backwards day I wore my hat forwards and my watch the regular way. I remember after school I went to work and an older co-worker said glad you started wearing things right, then I said sorry but it was just backwards day at school so I had everything forwards, I put my hat back to backwards and my Swatch watch back to buckle on top. We had a good laugh about that.
In the late 90's lots of kids wore visors backwards and upside down. When my nephew was 16 he always wore his visor that way every time I seen him. He was a lifeguard and I remember seeing him at the beach on a sunny day with his visor backwards and upside down! We always teased him about how stupid it looked, but he liked to wear it like that. I could never understand why it was cool.
Oh, god, my cousin would do that all the time... I never got it when I was little... I do remember Kriss Kross vaguely too... "I MISSED THE BUS!"
Wearing a visor backwards and upside down was a late 90's thing. When I was 17 in 1999 I started doing that, I did it for a few years. Yes, older people always had a negative opinion of me based on how I wore my visor but when they got to talk to me they realized I was alright and I was just doing what I thought was cool.
THE STUFF THEY HAVE NOW SUCKS !
KRISS KROSS RIP C.k.
Hello, the backwards hat trend and 90's style snap-back hats are the current trend with kids. I'm 19 and I always wear a snap-back hat backwards. I just like the way the plastic snap looks on my forehead. I even wear it like that when I'm outside in the sun working as a lifeguard, so I ended up with the sun tan outline of the snap on my forehead.
Of course the above comment is by a Brandon. Source: Also a white person.
Summer 92, I guess (17 y/o), I was hanging out with friends at the beach house at night and we were making fun of Kris Kross. Eventually we were like "how the hell do they even get dressed?" I was wearing a T-shirt and shorts at the time and we decided that yes, I would get dressed like Kris Kross. One guy had a button down baseball style jersey with him. I could slip that backwards over my head with the top button undone, although it was a little awkward getting my arms through since the sleeves were oriented toward the front.
But then, the jeans. Let's just say I had relaxed fit Levi's 505's for argument's sake. Up my legs and to my waist- weird but could do it. Then we realized there was no way that Kris Kross can dress themselves. I couldn't pull up the zipper or button the waist or buckle my belt myself- too awkward a position. Somehow I got someone (yes a guy) to do it. There are pictures and video somewhere...
Does anyone else remember when Darlene wore an inside out sweatshirt on Roseanne? I think that was before Another Badd Creation hit. Regardless, Another Badd Creation made it cool to wear your jeans inside out.
It is a rebellious "ghetto" fad, just as the Afro was during the 1970's. In my humble opinion, it looks as if they get their clothing from "Thugs R Us" department store. No one with any meaningful, relevant social standing really wants to look like "hip-hop" trash. That's right, trash. Young people can get away with this until they are about 18 years old. After that point, "the 'bloom of errant youth' is off the rose". It is time to grow up. Dress and act like a young man/woman, not a "hood rat". If you continue to dress this way, don't be surprised if the local constabulary is constantly giving you the "hairy eyeball". This mode of dress will raise suspicion everywhere that polite and civilized people congregate. Contrary to popular belief, no one really likes associate with the drug-dealing, gang-banging, ghetto-creeping scum. If you dress as they do, you will become socially linked to them. Think about it.
Holy shike, I can’t believe the straight-up cop comment from the oblivious “Captain O” above. I’m assuming this person is dead because the only people who still thought like that in 2017 were in their 70s or 80s. Hahahah. You’re exactly the fn problem with society, homie, not the people who express themselves with clothing, which in no way hurts anyone. It’s clothes, old timer. Get off the ‘net and go buy your grave plot (if still alive).
