I loved these chips. They were my favorite until they just disappeared from the market in mid 90s. My favorite was the Hoppin' Jalapeno flavor. Man, I miss these chips.

Back in the day everyone at Davis Senior High ate Crunch Tators on a bagel with cream cheese! BOMB! LOL! Hopefully they brin em back!
The crunch tator chip was made by Lays.. (said so on the bag) the Lays Kettle Cooked chips are identical to the Crunch Tators. or at least the mighty mesquite chip is idetntical to the Mesquite BBQ flavor.. the only flavor of crunch tators used to buy..
I used these as a go between snack while stationed at Fort Hood. It made the manuvers that much better. Love the Crunch Tators!!!
One of my fond memories from my youth is going fishing with the family and getting a bag of both flavors or these chips, then munching on them all day while not catching anything. Does anyone know the details of why they quit making them?
Ya these chips were the best! Old Dutch mesquite BBQ are fairly close as well. Still not crunch tators though...
I miss these chips - I used to pick my7 up in the 7 - 11 store - nice burning sensation in the mouth after eating a big bag of these monsters..
These were my favorite chips when I was younger as well.. you guys might want to check out Tim's brand jalapeno chips if you can find them in your area.
I use to get Crunch Tators every time I bought a Subway sandwich. Now I opt for the cookies and stop by the grocery store and pick up Kettle Band BBQ Chips. These are the closest to Crunch Tators that I've been able to find.
I really miss Crunch Tators Hoppin Jalapeño but have you tried the Kroger brand Prime Rib and Horseradish ! Mmm Mmmm!
Every December...Home Alone shows them
