Before the Eggo's with the fruit in the inside came out, there used to be Eggo's with fruit toppings in the early to mid 90's. They were microwaveable and came in I think 3 flavors; peach, strawberry, and apple. The apple ones were really good, but the others weren't bad either. Don't know why they discontinued them.

I don't remember this but I do remember the Eggo fruit fillings. I had it 4 breakfast once before I left in skool.
Does anyone remember Honey Nut Eggos? There were SO good and I haven't been able to find them anywhere for years, or even a mention of them on the Web.

I TOTALLY remember the honey nut waffles! I was JUST telling my co worker about them and it's like they never existed! I tried doing a google search to see if I could pull up an image and there was nothing... so sad. They were awesome waffles.
i just found a very old coupon for them and was checking to see if they are still. it was eggo nut & honey waffles.
I remember the honey nut ones and an apple cinnamon ones anyone remember those? mention some of the stuff from this site and people look at you like you got something growing out of your head

I see them in stoes their called "Drizzlers" now they come in Blueberry and Strawberry
The Eggo waffles that this page is about were called Kellogg's "Eggo Fruit Top Waffles". They came two to a box and were wrapped in plastic. You had to microwave them because they had real fruit topping on them. They came in Strawberry, Apples and Cinnamon, Blueberry, and Peach. The peach one was my favorite. The new "drizzlers" are nothing like these, being that the drizzlers just comes with a packet of fruit syrup to put all over the waffles that you toast traditionally. The waffles that this page is about had fruit preserves with actual fruit pieces in them on top of the waffle.
Seriously the honey nut waffles were the best ones ever made!!!!! I still miss those! I even emailed eggo about them recently and got a sweet brush off. Pretty lame, dont know how these weren't their best seller and how they wo t bring them back for a seasonal item.... Best tasting out of all the eggos:/
