Introduced around 1992, it was literally a giant "fruit rollup" rolled up on 3 feet of paper. Although it didn't taste as good as a fruit rollup, they sure were alot of fun to eat and play with!

haha they were called fruit winders here and had a comic strip on the paper what the fruit thing was stuck
They cause cavities but they are so good.
This stuff is one of the very best fruit snacks. I remember when they put the secret codes on the paper wrap and inside the box was a secret decoder magnifying glass type thing.
I would just wad them up and have "fruit in a sphere". It was like an apple, only delicious.
i always wanted them to be longer than they were.

Gotta love Fruit by the Foot! You can have fun with these, and definitely defines "'90's Food", and is definitely 1 of the most popular and tastiest fruit snack from the '90's.
I remember these! I used to unroll the whole thing, ball it up and eat it!

I remember these well and still remember when they came out with my favorite flavor circa 1998 -- Berry Tie-Dye!!! I am glad they're still around.
These were the best! We would always take it off the paper and wrap it around our index finger and just eat it that way. It's gross now to think about it, but as a kid, when were done with the fruit roll up, we would spend thirty minutes just licking our finger because it still tasted like the fruit by the foot.
I brought these alot. I wish it had something on the paper backing Like they did back than.
This gave me so many cavities
