They were the inside of lifesavers, little bits of hard candy that came in a plastic flip container. Came in peppermint and butterscotch, disappeared in the mid 90's.

To answer your question Slick, yes, Lifesavers still exist. Holes don't exist anymore, though. Part of the reason that one doesn't hear of Lifesavers much anymore is because Wrigley (their parent company) decided to dump the classic commercials with the reggae-sounding vocals.
They also had fruit flavors as well. I miss these candies. Really really good.
Anyone remember the "Sour Life Savers Holes"? They didn't come in the plastic tube package... they were in little bags and they were AMAZINGLY good! I can't believe they stopped making them.
I remember those... My sister got her tounge stuck in the plastic bottle and had to go to the hospital.
I eat these all the time
Definitely need to come back at with Lifesavers Holes!!! They were awesome and the best! I liked all the flavors!
these were the bomb back in the day
I wish they'd still make these
Not a big fan like my sister
I remember these from when I was little. I remember eating them all of the time at my grandparents house and they were so good.
