A soy imitation of milk. I think this was intended for people alergic or intolerant to cow milk but eventually it caught on with the health food crowd as a replacement. It went from mild obscurity to being in grocery stores around 97 or 98. It doesn't taste half bad.

User Stories and Comments
The following are comments left about Soy Milk from site visitors such as yourself. They are not spell checked or reviewed for accuracy. Soy milk tastes really good! I usually but the Vanilla flavor from Costco, and it tastes sweeter and a bit better than milk. I now buy Lucerne's Lactose Free Milk, which is basically milk, only without the Lactose, and it's better than soy milk, especially, because it's not flavored, like the Vanilla soymilk, and I've tried the original, and it tastes like crap.
