Fortified Oat Flakes were just about the only cereal I ate in the '70's as a kid, and I always bought them when I saw them. I always searched for them when I travelled until the internet caught on and I emailed Post/Kraft about them and got the same response as everyone else here. Come on, how much can it cost to make them? I can't stand the available oat cereals with chunks of sugar and gravel in them-yuck. These have an existing loyal following and the manufacturing process must be simple and cheap-profit anyone? Bring them back along with all of the Post retro packaging they have now. I thought the special flavor was a "touch of maple"-at least I have a vague memory of that on the box. It was Grape Nuts that had the "malty goodness" flavor (that's how they used to say it on the Jack Benny radio program when they were the sponsor. There were days I ate FOF for all 3 meals-they were that good. BRING THEM BACK!!
