I first became familiar with Post Oat Flakes when I'd visit my Grandmother's home in Morehead City, NC, after I was, oh, I'd say in my late teens/early 20's - she started buying them, I'm guessing, back in the '70's, and kept a box or two in the kitchen until they stopped making them (was that in the early '90's?... does anyone know?). I thought that I was probably the only person who'd ever heard of, or much less eaten, this cereal! Many folks weren't familiar with it, even then. ONE OF THE BEST CEREALS EVER MADE,"HANDS DOWN". And, BTW, my Grandmother only passed away in 2008, at almost 107 years of age! She was alert until the last 2 or 3 years of her life! Maybe it was the POF???!!?? Thank you for letting me share my POF story.
