Comments left:	I have the recipe for the Oat Flakes Cookies 1 c sifted flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/3 c shortening 1/2 c sugar 1/2 c packed brown sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla 3/4 c Post Oat Flakes 3/4 c chopped nuts Preheat oven to 375. Sift together first four ingredients Cream butter. Blend in sugars, creaming until light & fluffy. Add eggs & vanilla; beat well. Add flour mixture, cereal & nuts. Mix just til blended. Shape into 1" ball w/floured hands. Bake on ungreased sheet 10-12 min. Makes 2 doz. Store in tightly covered container. Found this site to find Oat Flakes. Try with substitues mentioned in post?
