I have a collection of over 1,000 Oat Flakes boxtops. At their introduction the first boxes had you send in boxtops to get cardboard models of various spacecraft. I received these and started saving for the next great mail in...which never came. I have all boxtop styles from the 60's through the 90's. Oat flakes became Fortified Oat flakes in 1966, and returned briefly as Oat Flakes in the 90's to try to cash in on the oat bran craze only to be phased out forever. I entered my collection in the local county fair but only won 2nd place. Some people just don't appreciate Oat Flakes the way I do.
