I wore a pair of Jelly shoes when I lived in Las Vegas. They had little plastic flowers bracketed on them. One time I was wearing them outside in the apartment playground, and ran my foot into an ant colony. I could walk for days. When I moved to Missouri, it became a very smart idea to wear hiking boots.
