Comments left:	Yeah, the 90s was when piercings of all kinds, and tattoos, went massive, after the 80s saw both sexes piercing their ears in multiple places. I never had any, but I particularly liked the ones called labrets, just below the lower lip in the center. Some friends had little hoops in their nasal septum. I like those but sometimes from a distance it looked like they had a little bubble of snot instead of a thin hoop. When I'd first seen facial piercings on punks in the late 70s, I'd cringed. In the 90s, I got used to it, not even flinching when people told me they had their genitals pierced. The tongue piercings, though, made people sound like they had speech impediments.
