Kev - January 19, 2008 - Report this comment wow some of you sure need to grow up.... and I do not mean the pokemon lovers.. don't let age decide what you love. GM - February 03, 2008 - Report this comment I used to love Pokemon. Had alot of cards, and it was the latest thing in school. But somewhere later on, the craze died and the kids who liked Pokemon now ridiculed it. I as well no longer had interest, so I sold everything for 50 bucks or so. I dislike it now, but I cant help but smile inside cause of all the fun times I remember I had with them. Joey - February 15, 2008 - Report this comment I remember when the whole thing started in like 98' I think I was in like kindergarden. So many good times and bad. I had my cards stolen a few times but it brings back great memories. I would bring my cards everywhere I went ha ha. Now that I think about I really miss those days and would give anything to live them again. Pokemon never got banned at my school nothing got banned. I dont love pokemon like I used to but I'll never be to old to get out my old game boy colour and play pokemon blue. Just last week my hockey team went to toronto and everyone brought their old Gameboys and we played pokemon when ever we were waiting. Good times good times. The memories will live on forever. Olusia - February 15, 2008 - Report this comment Pokemons are dangerous cus in Poland a kid jumped out a window on the 3 floor thinking a Pokemon would save him from falling. The family sued but they got no money... Gel - February 17, 2008 - Report this comment I have a box of pokemon cards that my cousin Billy gave to me when I was at least 5 or 6 years old. It doesn't make you look any cooler. I'm siding with the poke'mon lovers because I was in third grade when it came out in America, and I loved it. Everyone loved it. I not only traded cards, watched all the episodes, and reinacted battles during luch; I actually bought my gameboy pocket and Poke'mon Blue Version for 2,000 kool-aid points :) I knew all original in order too. Although I love the original the best, the new ones are still creative, and the fad lives on. Me and my friends still play and I graduate in exactly one month. This was one of the most popular fads in the history of media, and it has engulfed a generation in imagination and dreams. Like all other kids, I dreamed for a world with poke'mon, and I am happy that children today can still experience their wonder. The only thing I have against poke'mon is that Ash's voice actress changed, but kids nowadays wouldn't know. I was also one of the boys that had a crush on Misty :) Well, thank you Poke'mon, I'll never forget all of the happy memories you have given me. Austin Biggs - May 14, 2008 - Report this comment I love pokemon!!! I used to have wet dreamsabout Ash.......ahhhhh...so good...mhmmmm....tastes like condensed soup.....ooooyes... Austin Biggs - May 14, 2008 - Report this comment Hey its me....i forgot to tell yeah about the time i shoved my gameboy color up my ass...oh yeah Miranda - May 14, 2008 - Report this comment Pokemon was the best! I remember hiding at recess so we could break out our cards and battle. I don't think I missed an episode. apole - May 15, 2008 - Report this comment pokeom iz gay as heck man i dnt eva no y yaw made it it stupid and if you want Shannon - May 16, 2008 - Report this comment I'll always be a devout follower of the first 150. The original and greatest! Though there is one thing I couldn't figure out; in the opening sequence of the original series, Pikachu ran past Venusaur, Blastoise, Charizrard, through Ash's legs and then through the legs of some purple haired girl who was NEVER IN THE SHOW BEFORE. Can someone explain that for me? M-Patel - May 30, 2008 - Report this comment These things r worst than tickle me emo Mary - July 23, 2008 - Report this comment I was already 18 or so when Pokemon was popular in 1998, so I am probably the eldest one on here. However, I still loved Pokemon, and I was literally a Pokemon Master.............knew just about all of the names of each Pokemon - from the original one to the evolved Pokemon. I had VHS prints of the show, even made a homemade 12+ hour video of my own from the tv. Had the toys, and blankets, trading cards, cards, boardgames, everything, bed sheets...........just as I was into the original Teenake Mutant Ninja Turtles of the 1980's, early 1990's. I loved Pokemon - but I have since long outgrown it, and gave my Pokemon items to future generations to enjoy. It was fun while it lasted. Mistini - August 13, 2008 - Report this comment I'm still a Pokemon fan. The TV show, the collectible figures, the cards, the movies....I had/have it all. sam - September 15, 2008 - Report this comment I Loved Pokemon, still do. I had Pokemon cards,Pokemon Clothes,Pokemon Video Games, the Pokemon movies And I almost had a Pikachu backpack.I admit it; I like to watch the newer ones,But they're not as good as the old ones. I had a cake shaped like Jugglypuff for my 8th birthday. Luke - September 16, 2008 - Report this comment AHHHHHH! Looney - November 12, 2008 - Report this comment I really don't know who that purple haired girl was...I wondered that too...I was into it til the 3rd set of pokemon came out...then I just decided to lay off of it for a while...I know all the stuff for the pokemon from Bulbasaur to Deoxys...oh the memories JJ - November 17, 2008 - Report this comment I use to wash it in the washing machine for the fun of it. to experiment. carly - November 24, 2008 - Report this comment POKEMON GOTTA CATCH THEM ALL POKEMON!!!!!!!!!!! Matt - November 30, 2008 - Report this comment i've been watching pokemon since it came out. And I refuse to grow out of it. I have 4 seasons on DVD (first 4), I can name all 150, and I know all pikachu's jukebox songs J Nugget - December 03, 2008 - Report this comment lol Adults used to call em PokemAn.. lol who remembers that... Suzie-chan - December 28, 2008 - Report this comment Aaah, Pokemon... one of the few things, which kids in my school went crazy about, including me as well. I remember not only watching the series, but also the nifty collectibles they produced to attract the kids. Among them were, so called, "Pokemon tazo" - coins resembling the infamous hoppies, which were available in the bags of chips, like Lays of Cheetos. I remember having quite a big collection of those: unfortunatelly I sold all of them, along with my Pokemon cards. :( PKMNluvrer69 - January 06, 2009 - Report this comment OH MUH GOD! I LOVE THE POKéMAN!!!! Andria - January 09, 2009 - Report this comment Although I graduated from high school in 1998, there were still a lot of people who were interested in Pokemon. I was not one of them, although I did (and still do) find Pikachu to be adorable. On one occasion, someone smashed the window on the old Nissan Pulsar that was given to me as my first car, and took the stuffed Pikachu toy off of the rear-view mirror. I replaced the Pikachu, but no longer left it in plain sight. Also, I was often put up to ridicule by other students (mostly freshmen and sophomores) about liking Pikachu but thinking everything else was dumb. That's all I've got to say about Pokemon. wiersch - January 14, 2009 - Report this comment i was in like 2nd grade when they came out, and i loved them, but the new cartoon looking ones make me kinda mad. but i'll still always like pokemon, some of the people in my highschool still play the gameboy and ds games, including me. one of the toughest senior football players even plays. i think that's pretty awesome. jt62786 - February 02, 2009 - Report this comment I use to colelct pokemon cards and watch this on Tv before my bus came. Squid - February 09, 2009 - Report this comment These are still pretty popular with elementary schoolers. pop999 - February 10, 2009 - Report this comment pokemon rules cant touch them with their phanny packs on!!!!!!!11 pop999 - February 10, 2009 - Report this comment i hack alot on the games and loved the games but never realy liked the cards. pop999 - February 10, 2009 - Report this comment i not mexican i just take spanish class tbear - February 17, 2009 - Report this comment POKEMON ARE AWESOME!!!!!! i still have a gameboy color and all the old games (and the new ones) and a bunch of cards. The Poke man - March 24, 2009 - Report this comment I use to love this but now i love diffrent animes (this introduced me to anime) :DDD SeaTowner - March 28, 2009 - Report this comment I was allowed to play Pokemon as much as I wanted to; granted I was playing the German language version. shawnee - April 01, 2009 - Report this comment pokemon was epicccc ! Daphne - April 19, 2009 - Report this comment I loved pokemon!!!! I remember I never knew how to play, but I loved to look at the pictures. Everytime we whent to the little drugstore on the corner I would beg my mom for a pack of pokemon cards and a beanie baby =] Those were the days. I was only like 5 or 6. I remember one guy telling me my lapras sucked =P It did, but since it said like 100hp I thought it was a really good card ^^ I remember when the new pokemon came out too. I got a toadile and though it wasn't my favorite pokemon I carried it with me for quite a while. I thought it was the coolest card that no one else had =] Sadly my mom threw many of my cards away and I think I may only have a few left at my dads house. I will look for them someday. I miss my shiny persian and my only ninetales card I had =[ reaper - April 21, 2009 - Report this comment jdhfbgkjsdfbvkljadgfvkjh pokefan - April 23, 2009 - Report this comment I remember pokemon from grade 1, i was about 5 or 6 at the time when it came out and watched the show until about 10 or 11 i think. I recall running home everyday to see the next episode and playing with the cards at recess. Not to mention the video games which i played until sapphire version. I dont think i ever missed an episode and i got a holo blastoise in my first pack :D. Ill always remember this show as being some of the best times of my life. Then digimon and yugioh came along and the card game was no more...but the show went string until about when misty left and it started to go downhill. Oh well, the original 150 will always be in my heart :') Mike - April 24, 2009 - Report this comment Why does everyone say original 150? There were 151!
