One example of how Nintendo represented higher standards was in the SNES version of Id Software's Wolfenstein 3D. All references to the Nazi regime were covered, altered or removed. The enemy guards spoke in plain English, images of Hitler without mustache or swastika. By contrast, the GBA version was unabridged.
