The predacessors to the very popular Transformers of the late early 80's. This toy line picks up where the original Transformers left off. There are 2 warring factions which include: the Maximals, the good guys, and the Predacons, the bad guys, both side fought until eventually the Maximals won.

The N64 game fore this in 98 was awesome, I remeber it like it was yesterday. My friend and I went to blockbuster and rented Beastwars VHS tapes and the game, along with a bucket of lemonheads. We played that game for 2 days until the lemonheads were gone. Ahhhh those were the days.

I loved the show: it was the very first Transformers series that I've seen. I used to watch it right after I got back from school... which made my mom really angry ;). I still feel quite ashamed of it, but I used to have a crush on Silverbolt (c'mon I was like 7 or something! :P). Sadly I didn't get myself any of the BW toys... :(
