I had a yellow Skip-it and brought to school for recess everday until we weren't allowed to anymore because us girls could clip the boys in the ankles with'em. I need to find one and try to go 1,000
So when my husband was about 12, he decided that it would be an awesome idea to use the skip-it...with roller-blades on. Needless to say, he bit it pretty bad, and screamed "Oh Fiddlesticks!" I cant make that comedic gold up. The poor thing broke both of his arms. But I wont everlet him live it down. Im sure he often reminisses about his old skip-it glory days and wonders if he could ever make it as a professional. I'm pretty sure that if he was a professional Skip-it'er I wouldnt be with him, but he would be either doing my nails or designing my house.
i used to have a hot pink one. i loved it and i used to be pretty good at it.
I had a pink one and a purple one. I loved them and I was pretty good at it.
I loved these things. I only had one, and it lasted for quite awhile.
awww, I wish I still had mine! I had a pink, purple and blue one. THey were so much fun.
I really wanted one of these when I was little. My cousin had one and I was pretty good at it.
me and my sister had so many of these bc we would always do it in the house and slam it into the coffee table and it would break, so my parents kept having to buy us new ones. i remember i loved how it had that dial on the side that counted how many times you went around.
I loved the Skip-It! I used to play this all the time
I had a pink one that counted the number of skips. Man, I wore that thing OUT! We had to get a new neon green one. Alas, it suffered the same well loved fate.
i had a pink one, then i had a purple one.
Sister had a yellow one, then the ring broke so we got a bright pink one.
I had a purple one, and one night my sister and I went out in the middle of the night on the coldest night of the year and played with it. Because of the cold the plastic froze up and when it hit my left ankle when I missed my skip, it snapped and flew across the driveway.
I found one one day. I never got the skills down to actually do it so it was more an ankle brusier. I was glad I didn't make my mom buy me one.
Now a days i don't think they'd be allowed to sell a heavy ball on a rope to kids. They have much lighter versions now.
my record is 141 hahaha but i lost it
I loved my pink skip-it! Idk what happened to mine but I re-bought one last year because i missed it so much. hahaaa I remember loving how when I was doing it, i could sorta skip over to the boys and chase them around the playground...then they'd try to jump over it like a jump rope lol
haha my big sidter had one i was always messing with it. My sister used it so much the counter broke.
I remember one of my friends had one in 3rd grade
Aw man I wanted one secretly so bad! My little cousin had one, which we all took turns with, and it was so much fun! It was a great way to work up a sweat without thinking of it as work lol
Oh wow I use to enjoy a skip it it had a timer thing on it it tells u how much U do.
My older sister had one. I remember trying to use it but would get frustrated because I tried but couldn't do it. I didn't have the coordination yet to do it rhythmically like she could.
I absolutely loved my skip it. I went through several of them because I played with them so much they would break and snap in half.
