What are your top ten favorite albums from the 90s?

    By: Olivier D'Amours
    • 10. --- by ---
Well, I guess it's a top 9! I would have included Kid A by Radiohead if it would have been made 11 months before. I think that this album is completely revolutionnary.
    • 9. Darkest days by Stabbing Westward
Industrial music was a big part of the nineties too.
    • 8. Dig your own hole by The Chemical Brothers
I could have chosen Crystal Method - Vegas or Prodigy - The fat of the land instead of this one (and they all appeared during the same year, 1997). They redefined electronica music in general.
    • 7. Around the fur by The Deftones
Aggressive, and still very very melodic.
    • 6. Nevermind by Nirvana
Without this one, the 80's would have been 10 years longer.
    • 5. The Fight Club Soundtrack by The Dust Brothers
Dark, thrilling. Maybe the best soundtrack ever made.
    • 4. Evil Empire by Rage Against The Machine
I think that they gave inspiration to all the others rock bands, in the post-Nirvana period. I could have chosen their first album too, but this one is a more personal choice.
    • 3. OK Computer by Radiohead
      Simply beautiful.
    • 2. Live through this by Hole
      Grunge is dead. :/
    • 1. In Utero by Nirvana
If I would have to die with only one album, it would be this one. I honestly think that In Utero is musically better than Nevermind! (Nevermind is one hell of an album, too, hehe).
