- 10. Unforgiven by Metallica
As much as I think Metallica has slipped into mainstream oblivion. There is no denying how great this band used to be. This song from their classic Black album gets no. 1 on my top from the nineties chart.
- 9. Rooster by Alice In Chains
Song number 2 comes from I believe one of the best if not the best rock band from the nineties. These guys pumped out hard rock hits one right after the other. This one is the best of those.
- 8. Pearl Jam by Better Man
This is song number #3 on my countdown because in my opinion it is one of at least the top one hundred songs of all time. (but so is the breakfast club song too I believe). This song is a great song with a smooth transition to a climactic finish. It is well written and helps define how key this band is to the nineties.
- 7. Outshined by Soundgarden
This is my favorite track from one of the best rock bands of the nineties. This song rocks really hard. Even for Soundgarden.
- 6. November Rain by Guns N' Roses
I found it hard to pick just one song from Use Your Illusions I + II. But this is probably the most well-known. And it is a great song.
- 5. She Talks To Angels by Black Crowes
One band from the nineties that reminds me a lot of classic bands from the sixties/ seventies. This is just one song that exemplifies this.
- 4. Man in the Box by Alice In Chains
These guys Rock/Alternative/Metal all rolled into one, and it really worked. this is one of my favorites from AIC.
- 3. Ice Ice Baby by Vanilla Ice
Just like song #2, actually number 8 (am I doing this wrong)? Well this one was also played out and became so unpopular it killed Vanilla Ice's career.
- 2. Regulate by Warren G
This song was played so much it became uncool to play it. It was gangster rap going mainstream and it went out of style. Undeniable that it was a good song. See below
- 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
This song is a classic from a band that is/could have been legendary. They helped push rock music into a new direction.
oh, Whitney Houston - I will always love you. MC Hammer - U can't touch this. --Come on these songs would be on 90's Madness Compilation--- Extreme --- More Than Words Mr. Big --- (Beats me) EMF --- Unbelievable Fine Young Cannibals -- (can't remember)
