  Runrig z�hlt zu meinen absoluten lieblingsbands. die musikgruppe wurde bereits 1973 gegr�ndet, aber erst zwanzig jahre sp�ter sollten sie mit sich ihrem album "amazing things" endlich in die herzen einer breiteren musikfangemeinde spielen. der titel "song of the earth" stellt den h�hepunkt des albums dar.

  Einfach wunderbar. anh�ren und genie�en

  Mermaid avenue ist eines der h�renswertesten alben der neunziger jahre, auf dem schlichtweg zeitlose und sch�n arrangierte musik zu h�ren ist.
• 6. Thank You by Alanis Morisette
  Klasse, dass es noch solche songperlen heute noch gibt.

  Meiner meinung mit abstand der beste britische musiker der neunziger jahre, deren musik durch alle alben qualitativ immer am h�chstm�glichen niveau orientierte.
• 4. Blue Skye Mine by Midnight Oil
  Machte im f�hjahr 1990 richtig appetit auf die neunziger. was f�r ein aufregendes jahrzehnt.
• 3. Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins
  1995 ver�ffentlichten die smashing pumpkins ihr sensationelles doppelalbum "mellon collie and the infinite sadness", dass heute zurecht kultstatus besitzt. der obengenannte song ist mit abstand das beste, das die smashing pumpkins zu den 90 �ger jahre beigetragen haben.
• 2. More Than Words by Extreme
  Klasse gitarren-ballade, die heute noch jeden zu tr�nen r�hrt.
• 1. Everything But My Pride by Cutting Crew
  Die wohl beste kanadische band mit zwei fantastischen alben. mit dem legend�ren und fullminanten album "broadcast" setzten sie wichtige akzente f�r die musik der neunziger jahre. sie sind heute zu unrecht in vergessenheit geraten. mit dem nachfolgenden album "the scattering" (1989/1990) und der hitsingle "everything, but my pride" waren sie auf dem h�hepunkt ihrer karriere angelangt.

Es ist traurig, da� heute die musikbands nur noch mit gutaussehenden bandmitgliedern sich vern�nftig vermarkten lassen. sie werden durch marketingstrategen und werbefachleuten so �berm��ig hochgepusht, da� sie selbst mit bescheuerten titeln und grottenschlechten melodien die charts st�rmen. fr�her hatte man f�r solche bands nur ein l�cheln �brig. heute verdr�ngen sie erstklassige bands.

  I know it's not everyones facourite Nirvana song, but it's my favourite!
• 7. F.o.d. by Green Day
  Very funny secret song at the end!
• 6. Sabotage by The Beasty Boys
  One of the best music clips! Great parody of the cop force!
• 5. Asshole by Denis Leary
  One of the funniest songs I've heard! This made sure the 90s wouldn't be a non-funny time!
• 4. Prisoner Of Society by The Living End
  One of the most famous songs of the 90s. A must at any disco!
• 3. Bad Habit by The Offspring
  I'll always play this song when I'm driving! But i won't put anything dangerous in the glove box!
• 2. Closer by Nine Inch Nails
  This has one of the famous lines in music history! I wont mention it here though!
• 1. Aint Nobody by Ll Cool J
  The best song I've heard ever! It made "Beavis and Butthead do America" a better movie. It would have to be THE sex anthem!

My taste in 90s music seems to be a bit different to all of you, but I'm only 16, so I was very young in the early 90s at least.

  This is one of THE best Nirvana songs. Ever.
