The song of the decade. Its just great. "Sunday morning call" (also by Oasis) ain't far off.
Many bands and songs are still missing. I could have made a top hundred list with all the great songs that was made in the 90's. I would like toapologise to bands/artists as: REM, Suede(Starcrazy, Trash, She's in fashion and Filmstar), Stereophonics, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chilipeppers, Live, Semisonic, Radiohead, Weezer, Moby, Fatboy Slim, and many others I just cant remember right now.

- 10. Changes (Actually any) by Tupac
I choose his last released song, because he proved that rap was a way of communication for all with his heart felt music, and the deep meanings of his music... too bad we couldn't hear more
- 9. Firestarter/Breathe by Prodigy
After these songs, it seemed to lead to more techno beats in music, even though it took them awhile to catch on in America
- 8. Nuthin But a G Thang by Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg
Solidified the Death Row Empire until its fall and made the genre explode.
- 7. Time of Your Life by Green Day
It is one of the best, if not the best, ballads of the decade... you can just tell what song it is if you heard it anywhere at any point in the song
- 6. (Tied for 4th) What I Got by Sublime
Yes a three way tie for 4th... Can't believe they haven't been mentioned... Were would fast talkin punk bands be with out sublime... their mix of reggae and rock was like peanut butter and jelly... once again, too bad we couldn't hear more...
- 5. (Tied for 4th) Sabotage by Beastie Boys
They added a new attribute to rap and hip hop with their voices, beats, and creative rhymes
- 4. (Tied for 4th)Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Not as greatly seen in this great song as others, but this bands versatility may never be topped. They can produce rock, rap, and even pop hits
- 3. Do the Evolution by Pearl Jam
My personal favorite song of theirs, but they have many other great ones... I think their idea of no videos with them in it is genius... but aside from that, their songs always seem to have so much meaning to them
- 2. Rosa Parks by Outkast
I don't think Outkast gets the credit they deserve... when rap was bland and rock was hurting... They just brought in a new fresh beat with true lyrics... I will not argue about this... Their music can appeal to 30 year old workers and 12 year olds... Their is no way to describe their music, its not rap, or R&B, or Pop,... It is New Age Funk...
- 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
An anthem for a generation... 'Nough said... nothing doesn't even touch this... and it ended too soon like 3 other artists in the top ten
Let me know what you peeps think... this is my personal list =)
