    • 10. Dante by Loreena McKennit
Cant remember the full title of the song(I think this is the full title) Her album "The Book Of Secrets" is pretty good. This song is something u can meditate to or just chill and reminise about your past.
    • 9. Silence by Delerium featuring Sarah McLachlan
I did tell you that I have a weakness for great beats...and her voice is haunting...she has a few mainstream songs like Angel, Adia, Building a Mystery and I will remember you...excellent voice control..
    • 8. Missing by Everything but the girl
This song is kinda out of place in consideration to the rest of the selections....however, her voice is fantastic...and I do have a huge weakness for great beats.
    • 7. Sometimes I still feel the bruise by Trembling Blue Stars
Great song....I am not into his voice because I think it can be too nasal....but great melody.

love the voice. A lil boring when u play the guitar with the same chords over and over again. But then again Hope's voice and intepretation carries the song really well
    • 5. Untouchable Face by Ani Difranco
great lyrics that make u wanna screech out at the chorus when she sings "f*ck you"...if u play the guitar, get the tab and it is an excellent song to sing along to, especially when u are in a foul mood
    • 4. Love Song by Tori Amos
Originally done by The Cure(great band!!) But I like TOri's intepretation of it.
    • 3. Roads by Portishead
sob-worthy song...but too commercialised all thanks to movies plonking this song in any scene which has dark and slow undertones to it.
    • 2. Me and A Gun by Tori Amos
haunting. I listen to it and get goosebumps.
    • 1. Sebadoh by Let Tomorrow Be
      Melancholic

I do have this propensity to go for songs which evoke rather negative feelings...Do believe that if you get depressed, must as well have good music to be depressed to. I usually go for good "slash and gash" songs....songs that u listen to and it makes u just want to curl up in a fetal position and cut urself...but of course, they are a form of catharsis...I dont mean literally cut yrself...just a figure of speech.
