The rest of the songs I picked as the top ten have no real basis other than I was a teen in the nineties and these were the songs I rocked too with my friends! :)
- 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
It should be on everyone's list somewhere. of course everyone thinks its the number one song of the nineties. It revolutionized rock today. Listen to some of your favorite songs and I bet you'll find something in there that will remind you of Nirvana. In my opinion, not the best Nirvana song, but it got them on the map. Nirvana must be at the top of the best bands of all time, having changed music forever. Some say you can't compare them to bands such as The Beatles, but I have to then ask, what did The Beatles do that makes them great? They changed music. I think you get the picture...
