probably one of the best slow rock songs of the 90's. John's guitar is amazing in this song.

Creep is also a very good song. Another distinct band, that didn't care for fame, but just making damn good music.
- 7. Everlong by Foo Fighters
Dave Grohl can do it all. This song is both sad and happy at the same time.
- 6. Ana's Song by Silverchair
Very underrated band. Powerful song.
- 5. Losing my Religion by REM
Not a really big fan of REM, but this song gives me chills everytime I hear it.

Addicting beat, great song to just chill out. A very distinct band, noone can duplicate their sound.

Beautiful lyrics. Just as powerful as Jeremy.

One of Kurt's earliest and finest work, of course I had to chose one of his songs, but this one is my favourite right now.

an anthem of a generation, this dissected the basis of americana and it's government.

"i'm a zero" is something we all know. good song. good band.

most people don't like tool for who knows what reason, but this band is the basis of everything we stand for (and don't stand for ;) )
- 3. Breaking the Girl by Red Hot Chili Peppers
"Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magik" had its roots in funk than in anything else. though they've changed substantially in all aspects of their music, The peppers music is stil some of the best, and this song is their best.
- 2. Pretty Noose by Soundgarden
though they had more popular songs, this song really defined them, and 90s music as a whole.

I love the sound of this song. Without Nirvana, no Pearl Jam, Green Day, etc. They defined Punk/Grunge Rock for the 90's.

Unbelieveable song... brings so many good memories from middle school (believe it or not).
I am a Green Day fan for life. Dookie was the first and the best CD I have ever purchased. Other excellent songs from Sublime, REM and Chili Peppers get honorable mention but didn't make the top ten list.

Nothing will ever top it. Words can't explain......
I just madet his quicky....some songs i might have forgotten, but Nirvana still owns the best song. The Seattle group cannot be beat. It Cobain was still alive....maybe the best ever.
