    I carefully went over all these songs and made this list. Each song is amazing in its own way and deserves a spot on the top 10. I am sorry I didn't include any Nirvana, but I don't feel that any of their songs made it up past these ones.

      One can't leave Nirvana off a 90s list. This is their best song.

      This one is unbeatable.the greatest song of the era.

    Never again do I want to see a list that has Mariah Carrey and Celine Dion mixed with Nirvana and Pearl Jam.Kurt Cobain is rolling over in his grave.

      Not that this is the best tool song or anything(pushit is the best), but it is the one song that everyone knows. any song that proclaims, "i will find a center in you...I will chew it up and leave", is ok in my book.

      I remeber that I used to listen to this song over and over again, its so catchy and fun.

      They were such an insirational band, no one will ever forget them.
    • 3. Wannabe by Spice Girls
      When you're talking the 90's you have to include the spice girls phenomenon. They changed pop and influenced girl power.

      This song is so sad and haunting, but its what got me into alternative music.
