      everyone knows everything about this, all i can say is method man set the world on fire, an amazing talent came to life and his name is method man

      maybe im abusing this page a little because i gotta promote my favorite dj, the hottest dj in nyc spinning at club exit, hes unique and his sound reflects the nyc underground culture like no other, you gotta listen to him.. hes amazing.

      theres no real order to these top ten there all amazing but anyways this song gives so much inspiration, it makes you feel so good, if you like club music you gotta hear this, this song makes you feel like god.

    also tony drapers-into the future, the day after, and onto rescue are three more of his amazing songs. i should have put prodigys breathe in here too.

      One of those bands that automatically causes you to think of the 90s. Hard rockin and still cool.
    • 9. One by Metallica
      Out of the 90s Metallica stuff, this song best captures the essence of metallica, at least whats left of it. The last real metal album they put out.
    • 8. Janie's Got a Gun by Aerosmith
      Greatest American rock band ever, nothing else comes even close. This is an amazing song by them. (i think it was done in the 90s)
    • 7. Basket Case by Green Day
      You know you like it
    • 6. Machinehead/Glycerine by Bush
      You can't have the 90s without sixteen stone, both are great songs.
    • 5. Heaven Beside You by Alice In Chains
      Another influencial band. Sorta Grunge, sorta not. Either way this is a great song.
    • 4. Elias by Dispatch
      The first song I heard by Dispatch. Awesome band with some great harmonies, kind of a reggae sound. I suggest you check it out.
    • 3. Jeremy by Pearl Jam
      Eddie has amazingly powerful vocals, no matter what he sings about. This song makes it even better
    • 2. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
      Nirvana was my favorite band for a long time. This song really changed my musical tastes (for the better)
    • 1. November Rain by Guns N Roses
      Great Vocals. Great Guitars. Video is a plus, but not a deciding factor. Guns N Roses is one of the best rock bands

    10 is not enough to describe all the good music of an entire decade. Any other song by these bands can easily make it in here (well maybe not green day) Megadeth deserves a shout out as my favorite band (although they're mostly 80s). Plus 'classics' like Motown Philly, Ice Ice baby, and the list goes on and on.
