- 1. The Ballade of MC Sucka DJ by The Wildbunch
Greatest song ever. Even if no one knew who were they were ... or still don't (now known as Electric Six).
The 90's sucked. Real music was lacking until the latter part of the decade. But i guess it was just one of those stages in music history that helped better music for the future.

- 10. Tonic by If You Could Only See
I love this song. It is so beautiful with such simplicity. We should all play this at one time or another for our significant other.
- 9. Wanabe by Spice Girls
Yes yes yes...I know. I used to listen to this back in the day, okay 5th grade. I loved it, you loved it, now we all hate it.
- 8. Possesion by Sarah McLaughlin (sp?)
Again, one word. Intense.
- 7. Sex and Candy by Marcy Playground
Smooth, sexual, and oh so naughty. This song is so right, yet so wrong. The music is clamning while the vocals are almost hypnotic. *note, the lyrics are not to shabby either*
- 6. Flagpole Sitter by Harvey Danger
Amazing, insane, and playfull. This song express's how all of us feel at one time or another.
- 5. I Would Die For You by Garbage
One word. Intense.
- 4. Only Happy When It Rains by Garbage
Persoanly...this song changed my life. Much like the three listed above. It is dark, gloomy, and expres's who I am and who many people are. Kudo's to Shirly Manson for telling it like it is.
- 3. He's My Thing by Babes In Toyland
Ah, we could not forget the riot girrl era could we? Babes in Toyland was one of the most famous out of this trend and "He's My Thing" in my opion is one of their best songs. Loud, angry, and deeply personal it still maintains the "Fuck you bitch" aura.
- 2. Violet by Hole
Again, out of the grunge era. While most people look over Courtny Love's music due to the controversy over Kurt's death, she is amazing. The music is poetic, at times even more so then Nirvanas. It is well put together and then a thrashing guitar rift will come to assult your ears. Violet in my opinion is one of the best songs Hole ever released.
- 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
Although it is the most 'mainstream' *note, not by the bands choice* this is my fav. all time song. It changed a generation and showed the world "Hi, we want to die you stupid facist pigs, now change your ways." Over all...this is one of the top songs ever in my opinion.
Sorry for my personal opinions, and misspelling throughout. At the time of writing this I was up for about...well close to twenty-four hours. I was just to lazy to do spellcheck. Fuck you, love you, hate you. Peace out people.

This is what broke them into the leaders of rock today, GW

- 1. Plush by Stone Temple Pilots
this is the most underated song of all came out when mettalica and nirvana peaked and competed with Aerosmith and guns n roses but is a gem. and im an aussie!
i have some points to make 1, Nirvana dont deserve to be there in my opinion, overall they were good but i dont think a particular song stood out. 2. im aussie and dont have one aussie band there. how sad :)
