Man what a song. Holy shit its insipiring for anyone trying to write their own riffs.

Well, this song pretty much has everything. And it was voted by VH1 and Kerrang the best song of all time and has come top in a whole lot of other polls. I am still waiting to hear Cobains Predessor.

I think its fair to say that better music was produced in the first half of the 90s.

Just a beautiful song. Michael Stipe can make me cry with his gorgeous voice.
    • 8. Stay (i Missed You) by Lisa Loeb
A great song from a great film. My second one hit wonder so far (along with Deee-lite) Shame she didn't continue to produce songs as good as this.
    • 7. God Is A Dj by Faithless
If you've never heard this song, please try! There's no better feeling than being packed like battery hens into a sweaty nightclub at 3am when this song comes on and just gives everyone the pick-me-up they need.
    • 6. Human Nature by Madonna
Genius song, amazing video. Bow down to the queen.

If you've ever been to a Green Day concert, and been at the front while Billie Joe et al hammer this out, you'll know why I've picked it.

What an amazingly funky song. Still great to hear in clubs today and make everyone get their groove on.

Ever tried to listen to this without jumping about and shouting along very loudly? It's about 6 years old now and it's still damn near impossible!
    • 1. Live Forever by Oasis
An amazing song by one of my favorite bands in their prime. British music rarely gets better than this.

One of my fav songs of all time was just too late too make the list as it was released in 2000. It's 'Aisha' by Death in Vegas (with Iggy Pop guesting) PLEASE, PLEASE try and check it out!
