      i feel bush was the great grunge band of the early 90's, this song always ment so much to me and all of my friends

      weezer's second single off of their first self titled album(blue), they are the only band that i feel deserves 2 songs on the top ten, this was among the most memerabol music videos of the 90's, (happy days video). this video came installed on certain computers. weezer is still going strong, comming back in 2000.

      Man what a song. Holy shit its insipiring for anyone trying to write their own riffs.

      Excellent song. Too bad their new album is shit. Why didn't have solos and why didnt Lars turn on his snare? Its not Metallica anymore.

      Cobain was great. His voice sounds even better on the unplugged cd.

      Man they are unblievable.
    • 6. I Just Want You by Ozzy Osbourne
      One of the best by Ozzy. But he aint so great without the original Black Sabbath line-up.
    • 5. Soundgarden by Black Hole Sun
      Amazing song. Nuff said.

      Describes Grohls whole life and shows how hes almost achieved all his goals in life after splitting from Nirvana (the ups and downs of his life)

      A first Person narrative of Breaking Down after taking Drugs.
    • 4. Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers
      Taking Acousitc(ness) to a HIGH level. Great to listen to!
    • 3. My Heart Will Go On by Celeine Dion
      Nice song.
    • 2. Come As You Are by Nirvana
      Another great song from an outstanding band whch changed Music by really introducing Rock back.
    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
      Well, this song pretty much has everything. And it was voted by VH1 and Kerrang the best song of all time and has come top in a whole lot of other polls. I am still waiting to hear Cobains Predessor.

    I think its fair to say that better music was produced in the first half of the 90s.

      Just makes me wish I could dance like the guys in the video. Can't keep my head from bobbing or feet from stomping to this, the ultimate in cool.

      Just a beautiful song. Michael Stipe can make me cry with his gorgeous voice.
    • 8. Stay (i Missed You) by Lisa Loeb
      A great song from a great film. My second one hit wonder so far (along with Deee-lite) Shame she didn't continue to produce songs as good as this.
    • 7. God Is A Dj by Faithless
      If you've never heard this song, please try! There's no better feeling than being packed like battery hens into a sweaty nightclub at 3am when this song comes on and just gives everyone the pick-me-up they need.
    • 6. Human Nature by Madonna
      Genius song, amazing video. Bow down to the queen.
    • 5. Street Spirit by Radiohead
      I know everyone seems to pick a Radiohead song but that's for one good reason, they're bloody brilliant! This song sends shivers down my spine.
    • 4. Basketcase by Green Day
      If you've ever been to a Green Day concert, and been at the front while Billie Joe et al hammer this out, you'll know why I've picked it.
    • 3. Groove Is In The Heart by Deee-lite
      What an amazingly funky song. Still great to hear in clubs today and make everyone get their groove on.
    • 2. Monkey Wrench by Foo Fighters
      Ever tried to listen to this without jumping about and shouting along very loudly? It's about 6 years old now and it's still damn near impossible!
    • 1. Live Forever by Oasis
      An amazing song by one of my favorite bands in their prime. British music rarely gets better than this.

    One of my fav songs of all time was just too late too make the list as it was released in 2000. It's 'Aisha' by Death in Vegas (with Iggy Pop guesting) PLEASE, PLEASE try and check it out!
