By: Stephen Schretlen
- 10. Adam's Song by Blink 182
I used to listen to this song all the time and like it sooo much... then my Aunt told me it was about some guy trying to kill himself... but then I got older and started to understand the lyrics and liked it even more... I think it is a great song to listen to when feeling depressed.

This song has the best beat ever and the lyrics is sooo great... really gets you in the mood for some lovin... "I wanna **** you like an animal."

Another great song by Green Day and I absolutly love the begining of the song.... "Do you have the time? To listen to me whine? About nothing and everything all at once?"

- 1. Enter Sandman by Metallica
Metallica's biggest and best song of the 90's on one of their best albums known to most as the "Black Album." This song gets me so pumped up, and was the song that got me into Metallica and Metal music.
Well those are my top 10 for the 90's... it was very VERY hard making that list... hopefully most of you agree on my list... And as some of you can tell im a Metallica fan... well a HUGE Metallica fan I guess... to bad other than the Black Album they have been very VERY lacking in the 90's... Anyways thats my list for the 90's.... Cyaz... PS: Sorry to all you In Flames fans out there... I have only recently started listening to them so they didnt make the list.

- 10. I Love You Always Forever by Donna Lewis
90's? Oh yeah.
- 9. If You Could Only See by Tonic
Before lol ever became your favorite trend to abuse, your older sibblings were listening to this after school every day.
- 8. Loser by Beck
Quite possibly the closest any 90's alternative rock song has come to defining the youth of the 90's troubled self loathing generation. Let's have a guy who sort of looks like Kurt Cobain singing about random observations of everyday life. With a chorus like "I'm a loser, baby. So why don't you kill me?" you can't get too much more 90's than this.
- 7. Love Fool by The Cardigans
Short blonde hair knockout 90's chick fronting an experimental pop rock alternative band singing about a troubled relationship. What's NOT 90's about this???
- 6. Barely Breathing by Duncan Sheik
Typical 90210 drama whore, front-combed hair style, 90's guy. What an amazing song.
- 5. What It's Like by Everlast
This song really examplified the realizations of everyday struggle that we as a culture finally paid attention to.
- 4. Only Happy When It Rains by Garbage
Shirley Manson looked sooo 90's Donna Martin in this video. Typical 90's depressed mellancholy female lyrics backed by power chords and too many choruses.
- 3. The Freshmen by The Verve Pipe
Classic dark mid 90's song about what else then the torment that was school relationships.
- 2. Wonderwall by Oasis
Despite the band actually being the most self absorbed band to come out of Britain, they really had a profound impact on American radio with this song.
- 1. Six Underground by Sneaker Pimps
Their singer Kelli Dayton really gave a definitive image example of the classic 90's wildchild bitch in this video. Not only does her voice fill the void of your pop culture infested mind, but the chorus lyrics really capture the attitude that is associated with the 90's girl. "Don't think cause I understand, I care. Don't think cause I'm talking, we're friends."
Let's try to forget about the latter half of the decade. This includes such horrible pointless music like Limp Bizkit, Korn, Creed, Linkin Park, Britney Spears, and etc.
