For a brief couple of weeks, they really were bigger than The Beatles.
- 8. Nightswimming by REM

- 7. When I Argue I See Shapes by Idlewild

Everything you never want to say to the one you loved.

- 2. Lover, You Should've Come Over by Jeff Buckley
Without this man, there is no post-Pablo Radiohead, no Travis, no Coldplay.
- 1. Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead
So delicate, yet powerful at the same time. As if it would break if you listen too hard.
There are many, many, many songs that deserve inclusion in this list. It's difficult to encapsulate 10 years of devotion to the sounds and words I never thought to say into ten selections. I only hope I die before I start to forget these songs and how they defined my existence for those all-too-brief years.

My favorite Nirvana song.
As you can see, I am a HUGE Nirvana fan. I honestly can hardly pick between any of their songs, so I just typed the songs as they came off the top of my head. Any and all Nirvana songs are good. Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl are 3 of the best rock performers that ever lived.
