  Classic song about the tortures of love in generation x.
• 8. Labour of Love by Frente!
  Out of all the alterna-chick bands of the mid 90's, this was one of my favs.
• 7. Brick by Ben Folds Five
  this was late 90's....I think like 97-98......
• 6. Fade into You by Mazzy Star
  Slow and mellow and just a cool frickin song. This one makes me think of my first girlfriend.
• 5. Hey Man, Nice Shot by Filter
  Filter was head of thier time on this one. This was before they made that wussy 'picture' song.....
• 4. Wax Ecstatic by Sponge
  'Molly' was another great 90's moment by these guys.
• 3. Breaking The Girl by Red Hot Chili Peppers
  This song was absolute poetry.....what a great era for the Chili Peppers.
• 2. Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots
  This was gonna be my number one, .....the biggest hit for the biggest band of the 90's
• 1. Everlong by Foo Fighters
  awesome awesome awesome....one of the greatest rock songs ever recorded.

  Nice to hear a Thug who revolutionized rap to speak up on behalf of the ladies.

  The door opener for alternative music

  Two of the greatest artists of all time and definitely of the 90's. What more is there to say?
