      When I first heard this song on the soundtrack to the american Mega Man cartoon, I THOUGHT IT WAS A SONG FROM THE 70S!!! I didn't know that it used samples of another song, because back then, I didn't know what sampling was. Anyway, this song came out in 1995, but it has an authentic 70s sound to it! People who don't know what sampling is, and who here this for the first time might think all the vocals and instruments are live (just like I did when I first heard it)

      It's the first hit by possibly the biggest punk band of the late 90s, Blink helped keep punk alive.
    • 4. Thunder Rolls by Garth Brooks
      Who says a country song can't be a hit? Garth was HUGE during the mid-90s, and this is the song that did it for him.
    • 3. Jeremy by Pearl Jam
      Pearl Jam may have been the biggest band of the 90s if all their songs would've been as good and touching as "Jeremy"
    • 2. Good Riddance (Time of Your Life) by Green Day
      Green Day kept the punk scene alive during the '90s and this was their biggest hit and still is to this day. "When I Come Around" and "Basket Case" could've been anywhere on this Top 10 as well.

      Simple Choice...This song changed the whole direction that Hair Metal/80s pop was bringing into the 90s, possibly no song in the history of music could've had as big of a long-term impact as this classic. Sorry Elvis and The Beatles
