- 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
Simply rocks. No song is better.
I don't think you can call your list "The Top 10 songs of the 90's" if you have Cristina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Mya, or Savage Garden. Honorable mention of this REAL top 10 list goes to: "If You Could Only See" by Tonic/ "Nothing Else Matters" by Metallica/ "Black Hole Sun" by Soundgarden/ "One Headlight" by The Wallflowers/ "My Hero" by Foo Fighters/ "Going the Distance" by Cake/ "You Make Me Completely Miserable" by Lit/ and "Everlong" by Foo Fighters.

- 4. 46 & 2 by Tool
Personal favorite song of the Aenima album. Damn, I can't wait for the next album from those guys
- 3. Prison Sex by Tool
"Your Moth-er's a slot". Beavis & Butt-Head spoofing this song and its video just made it better.
- 2. Everything's Ruined by Faith No More
Not one of their most popular songs, but an example of early 90's FNM at their best. Everything just works in this one.
- 1. Liar by Rollins Band
When I heard this song, I went out and bought every Henry Rollins thing I could, and haven't stopped since. Henry simply rules.
It's was sad to watch great rock and alternative become so huge in the early 90's and peter out towards the end. Even worse to watch it's weak rebirth in the last two or three years. Someone needs to come blow the roof off the joint again real soon.
