They were on the Windows 95 CD and look how far computers have come. Put them together and you have a very important song.
    • 7. AEnima by Tool
Very good song. Showed us a heavy alternative to rap-rock. Still around today in the fight for good music.
    • 6. Never Gonna Get It by En Vogue
I Absolutely hate this song, but it is probably the closest thing that all these new all-girl moesha "bands" can go back to. Look where it is today, still on the top of the charts. I'm not saying its right, but thats how it is.

    • 2. When I Come Around by Green Day
This song is amazing. It shows just how great the 90's were.
    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
This isn't exactly my favorite Nirvana song, but it started a revolution of new music flooding in and started an era of good music for the Early-Mid 90's

The only rap song on my list, since it will actually last through the next few decades. It's a song everyone remembers at school dances.
    • 9. Porcelain by Moby
Yes, this counts - Play was released in 1999. Thank god for that terrible movie, The Beach, or else I would have never heard this funky, soothing song.

They weren't the best band, but this song is a classic from that great movie Empire Records (which produced one of the best soundtracks of the decade).

    • 3. Jeremy by Pearl Jam
Who doesn't love Pearl Jam? Very emotional, very real.

There are many more pumpkins songs to love, but between Tonight Tonight, and Today, this one will be the most memorable.
    • 1. Buddy Holly by Weezer
Not a popular choice, but I'll always remember dancing around to this, and watching the very cool vid on muchmusic!(no nirvana here!)

This was one of the hardest things to do! I advise everyone to sit down and think of a top ten list - it's pretty satisfying and brings back memories.
