So unknown...yet so talented. So mellow, so harmonic, beautiful.
- 1. Smashing Pumpkins by Blank Page
So sad and slow---shows the other beauitful side the pumpkins had. Everyone should own the ADORE CD. It is hauntingly beautiful--every song.
So much music, so little time. If we are talking trance--BT is god. Rap, 2pac is.

It was different when it came out and a nice career move for Cher. Sadly after 2 albums of Believe's the sound tires but the original always makes me wanna dance.
- 1. Maria by Blondie
This is the song of the 90s for me. At the time i wasn't intrested in music much i'd got a bit bored by about 1996 and then this came out.

Track that puts them where they are today.
- 9. Estranged by Guns And Roses

Track that got me to buy the bends. Which is one of the few rock cds I still listen to.

- 2. Jeremy by Pearl Jam
I don't think this song needs an explanation. It's a great song, and it was hard for me to chose between this one & my number one choice.
- 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
Definately has got to be at least in the top 5 on anyone's list who knows anything about 90s music. It was the anthem of the whole early 90s Grunge movement, and a great song.
I know that all of these songs are in the same (or a very similar) genre, but these are what I feel the best songs of the 90s were. I'd also add some things by Dave Matthews, Matchbox 20, The Stone Temple Pilots, and a bunch more bands if I had enough room. I stayed away from a lot of the late 90s music, because personally, I think that pop crap (BSB, NSYNC, Hanson, Spice Girls, etc.) Sucks.
