i know this is supposed to be a 90's section, but they were made in the 90's... these cd's take me right back to my childhood and they really get the party going. everyone should buy them.

this was my first cd i ever bought with my own $. I listened to it at least once a day my 7th grade year. great to listen to if you just need to chill.

wonderful tunes. every time I hear them I want to pick up my guitar and join a band.

madonna is my absolute favorite person in the whole wide world and my ultimate idol. This is my 2nd favorite of hers, my first being her debut, but this has deeper lyrics and emotion that she'd never expressed before. :)
- 5. daydream by mariah carey
this is mariah's best. I had three different boyfriends that "our song" could be found on this CD. Go mariah!
- 4. tidal by fiona apple
it's nice to hear a singer with a distinctly non-pop sound. Her lyrics are incredible and I am one of the only chicks I know that can sing as low as she can.
- 3. mellon collie and the infinite sadness by smashing pumpkins
this is the only cd I own that i can completely relate to every single song on it
- 2. becoming x by sneaker pimps
if i were stranded on a desert island with only two cd's, this would be my only other option besides nirvana.

The absolute best of all time, nothing will ever beat this, no questions asked.
I am personally an 80's child myself, but the 90's did produce some good stuff. others I did not get to mention are Run DMC's down w/ the king, ace of base's the sign, foo fighters, and sublime. and vanilla ice. props to the almighty whitey!

Every time I hear these songs it takes me back to seventh and eighth grade. I still love these songs.
- 8. The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner by Ben Folds Five
These songs are all so touching and beautiful. Especially Don't Change You Plans and Magic.
- 7. Jagged Little Pill by Alanis Morisette
This is the only female album I own, but it is incredible. She sings with such rage that is too cool and the songs rock.
- 6. Be Here Now by Oasis
The average song length on this album is like 6 minutes which I find pretty cool. Awesome album.
- 5. Nevermind by Nirvana
Smells Like Teen Spirit, Lithium, and Come As You Are are some of my favorite songs from the decade and this entire album is just awesome.
- 4. Automatic For The People by REM
This album is just wonderful. It's a softer and more serious side of one of my favorite bands ever and contains some of my favorite songs like Everybody Hurts, Drive, and Man on the Moon. Actually, every song on this album is awesome.
- 3. Ten by Pearl Jam
This is just a truly awesome grunge album.
- 2. Unplugged in New York by Nirvana
This is in my opinion Nirvana in their natural state and I just think that Kurt's musical genius is truly reflected on this live album.
- 1. Purple by Stone Temple Pilots
This was one of the first albums that I was ever obsessed with. I would listen to it 24/7 and it never grew old.
