    • 10. So I Married an Axe Murderer
Definitely one of the funniest movies of all time. Mike Myers at his finest..."HEED, MOVE! That boy's got a melon the size of sputnik!" (or something to that effect)...FANTASTICALLY HILARIOUS.
    • 9. Braveheart
OK, I hate Mel Gibson. BUT, this movie ROCKED. Even though it is 3 hours plus, it keeps your attention with fine acting, beautiful scenery and FANTASTIC battle scenes-- "FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!"
    • 8. All About My Mother/ Todo Sobre Mi Madre
Pedro Almodovar is by far the best European director out there (Roberto Benigni WHO?). This is one of his finest...run, don't walk to see this.
    • 7. Great Expectations
This is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time, and definitely one of the most underrated movies of all time. Gwenyth Paltrow and Ethan Hawke have an amazing on screen chemistry-- helped along by the phenomenal artwork of one of the greatest contemporary artists of our time-- Francesco Clemente...The movie is well shot with great performances from Robert Dinero and Anne Bancroft...A MUST SEE.
    • 6. American History X
Another Ed Norton film. This time he outdoes himself as a skinhead-turned-good-guy to save his little brother, Ed Furlong (great actor!). This is a great insight into the world of neo-nazism and how screwed up so many of our teenagers are nowadays. 2 thumbs WAY UP.
    • 5. SLC Punk
Matthew Lillard is hilarious! What a great actor. This is a fantastic, raunchy look at the punk underworld of Salt Lake City. Very original, very fun.
    • 4. Schindler's List
OK. I hate to give props to big Hollywood directors, but Speilburg did create a memorable movie that captured the essence of the holocaust. He didn't ruin the movie with his usual in your face antics, leaving nothing to the audiences imagination. Ralph Feinnes is a genius.
    • 3. Silence of the Lambs
One of the most talked about movies ever. No one will ever get over "I ate his liver with fava beans and a nice chianti." Bone chilling...Jodie Foster is a Goddess! CREEPY!!
    • 2. Run Lola Run
This came out in late 1998. Possibly one of the most innovative films of our time. Tom Twyker is definitely someone to watch out for...his next film, the Princess and the Warrior is just as ground breaking with his amazing star, Franka Potenta-- WOW.
    • 1. Fight Club
David Fincher is a genious. The shots and angles are phenomenal in this flick! He is one of the best new filmmakers of our time...and Ed Norton is a fantastic actor...5 stars!
I would say most films of the 90's were way below par. However, the late nineties were innodated with amazing filmmakers like Twyker and Fincher. It is only getting better... with Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream), Lurhman (MOULIN ROUGE!)...Jeunet (Amelie, City of the Lost Children)...I am looking forward to more! Take care!

    • 10. Billy Madison
In my opinion, the funniest Adam Sandler movie ever made, and I still crack up every time I watch it.
    • 9. The Wedding Singer
Just a great funny movie, and Drew Barrymore is HOT!!!!!!!!! in this picture.
    • 8. Ace Ventura- Pet Detective
Jim Carrey broke out HUGE, and this is the ONLy movie I ever went to go see twice. Made comedies "cool" again, and is still DAMN funny to this day; it has withstood the test of time (and passed with flyng colors).
    • 7. Rudy
The ONLY movie that EVER made me cry (anyone who plays/played sports/football understands;-). I hate Norte Dame football, but I'm always a fan when this movie comes on. One of those movies you could just watch 45x in a row and not get sick of it. A true story to boot, too.
    • 6. Austin Powers
Revitalized Mike Myer's career, and made the phrases "Oh Behave", "yeah baby yeah" and "shag" a part of our everyday vocabulary. Very funny to boot.
    • 5. Wayne's World
Jut phenominal. If you don't like this movie, you gotta be braindead. Easily one of the funniest, best movies of the 90's. Also one that gets quoted on a daily basis.
    • 4. Unforgiven
I'm not a big fan of westerns, but Clint eastwood kicked ass in this movie. Awesome storyline to boot.
    • 3. Terminator 2
GREAT!!!!!! movie, one of the rare instances where the sequel easily surpases the original, and just a GREA GREA GREAT movie.
    • 2. Friday
Easily one of the funniest, BEST movies I have ever seen. EVERYONE in this movie plays their characters to the MAX, and my friends and I quote this movie at least 5X. It's one of those rare movies that just gets funnier every time you watch it.
    • 1. The Crow
My favorite movie ever (just look at my email addy). I love the story, and Brandon lee kicked ass in this role. I just flat-out love this movie.
Honorable mentions: Scream (definately a top franchise of the 90's), "Wrestling With Shadows: The Story of Bret "The Hitman" Hart" (MUST SEE for ANY pro wrestling fan), Toy Story (FUNNY movie), Titanic (not a big fan, but hell, it made $700+ million dollars, so it has to be up there), Happy Gilmore, Necessary Roughness, and The Waterboy.

      Funny
