10. Freaks by LiveI had to include this song, just because of it's complete difference to the type of music I liked at the time, and how hearing it changed my outlook on music, and my tastes swayed due to it, so I figured I'd give it the last spot.
9. The World I Know by Collective SoulSuch a deep song, and the melody is just right on to the feeling of the lyrics. Truly amazing songwriter, but this is their most perfectly hit track.
8. Smells Like Teen Spirit by NirvanaI've never like this song, but it really paved the way for grunge music, and everytime someone says something about the 90's, Nirvana's name gets mentioned, so since this is for the best songs of the 90's, I felt it should be included, disregarding my personal feelings.
7. Live Again by Better Than EzraThis song got me through such a hard time in my life, that when I think about it, I almost cry. It's so sad and yet full of so much hope that is just perfect.
6. Iris by Goo Goo DollsThis song was definitely overplayed, but was done so perfectly for the movie, even though I didn't like the movie, this song made me become a fan of the Goo Goo Dolls.
5. Tonight, Tonight by The Smashing PumpkinsI don't think I even need to say anything about this one. This song created the Pumpkins popularity in mainstream radio, and Billy Corgan just has a voice that pierces as well as soothes your mind.
4. My Hero by Foo FightersThis song is basic in it's structure, but has so much intensity in Dave's voice that it couldn't be overlooked.
3. Til I Hear It From You by Gin BlossomsThis is my favorite band of all time, and I wish their career hadn't ended so soon, but this is by far their most stand out song to me, and just makes me feel alive when I hear it.
2. Is Anybody Home? by Our Lady PeaceThis is such a well written song that is scares me, Raine's voice mixed with Mike's guitar is just so perfect that it has to be in the top two songs of the 90's.
1. Semi-charmed Life by Third Eye BlindThis song just has a little something for everyone, and is my favorite song by 3eb.
It's hard to think of all the best songs just sitting down in five minutes, I'm sure I missed many songs that would replace some these, but these are the ones that stand out in my mind.
