    • 1. Iris by Goo Goo Dolls
With so many good songs of the 90's this one has to stand out, i love just love it.

Time of you life by Green day is also a wicked song, Everybody hurts REM, gangstas paradise by COolio, ironic Alanis, and a whole heap of others would of made my list if to but i couldnt decide, music today is mad, but the last decade rocked like no other in my opinion.

    • 10. Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana
I love this song and I think Kurt Cobain was just misuderstood by listeners. People just need to lighten up.
    • 9. Only God Knows Why by Kidrock
This song shows that even The American Bad Ass himself has a soft side.
    • 8. Dont Speak by No Doubt
I think this is a great song about heartbreak and Gwen shows every that women do ROCK!!!
    • 7. Time of Your Life ( Good Ridance) by Green Day
I chose this song because it makes me look to the past and feel good about the things that I have gone through and to feel like I have achieved something.
    • 6. Glycerine by Bush
I chose this song beacause Gaven has a voice that reminds me so much of Kurt Cobain and since he isnt around to sing anymore, I feel like he is keeping the rock alive!!!!!!!!!
    • 5. Just a Girl by No Doubt
I chose this song because it explains how I feel at times when I am treated differently because I am a girl and people think I am incapable of doing some things, but that just makes me want the challenge!!

    • 10. Freak On A Leash by Korn
Just a great tune - no one knows the lyrics but can hum along with it and certainly do a little head banging!
    • 9. Time Of Your Life by Green Day
This somber song probably doesn't have the most creative music but it sure packs a powerful message. Great song for Prom's and other dances!
    • 8. Wannabee by Spice Girls
Wow... I'm even surprised I put this one on the list! (Can you get the hint I don't like girl bands?) ;-)
    • 7. Enter Sandman by Metallica
Probably one of the best heavy rock bands out there - ever. This song was a great hit for the group as well as a lot of other tunes!
    • 6. Hit Me Baby One More Time by Britney Spears
As much as I don't like all the media for Britney, this song clearly had a defined tune and beat. I know I catch myself singing it time to time! :-)
    • 5. Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden
This song was popular in the early 90's and continues to provide us with a great mellody.
    • 4. One Headlight by Wallflowers
Can't say much except this song was very popular!
    • 3. Changes by 2Pac
For a rap song, this one clearly showed emotion and sensitivity - which all appealed to those who were not exactly committed to this alternative style.
    • 2. Higher by Creed
Even being a new band, this song could be heard across the country every day. This introduced the beginning of a new band - Creed which I believe will be just as known as Aerosmith.
    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
There is no other song that influenced the 90's like this song. Nirvana took/set the stage with this great tune!

Many other bands should probably be on this list but I feel these songs were the most influencing of the 90's. Some others are the Goo Goo Dolls, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Aerosmith, and even Eminem. Good luck with YOUR tunes and please pardon my spelling!!
