      This is a fun song with fun lyrics and a great sound!

      I love this song!
    • 8. I Want It by Saliva
      This is a good song, a great band, and some of the coolest guys you will ever meet!

      I just love this song! It is fun to listen to and gets you in a good mood.

      This is a good song and a good band and if you have never heard of them you need to cheak them out.

      I think that fuel is one of the best bands I have ever heard. They have some of the best lyrics, and Brett Scallions (the lead singer in case your dont know) isn't too bad to look at either :o)!

      I chose this simply because it is my favorite song from the 90s but not the best and it is from my all time favorite cd "Core."

      A great grunge song with dark lyrics.
    • 7. Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers
      This is song lifted the Chili Peppers and made them what they are today.

      One of the most catchiest guitar riffs i know of.

      I love the video and the band and it is unfortunate that they broke up.

      Probably the most overplayed rock song there is.

      Great tune.

      This is the song that made grunge what it was.

      It is just a classic and it is coming from one of the best alternative bands ever.

      The best song ever... so sad, but so beautiful at the same time... the video is awesome...

    • 9. Metropolis Part 1 by Dream Theater
      The most amazing, most underrated band of all time (next to Rush).
    • 8. Epic by Faith No More
      Yeah I know this song isn't from the 90's, but it was released in '89 which is close enough, besides, Disposable Heroes was '86.
    • 7. Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers
      Although my personal favorite is Suck My Kiss, you have to hand it to them, they did an AMAZING job on this incredible song.
    • 6. All Over You by Live
      Not their most popular, but I believe it is definately their best.
    • 5. Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden
      It was either this or Fell On Black Days. Difficult choice, but both are incredible songs.
    • 4. Jeremy by Pearl Jam
      Despite the fact that this is one of the most overplayed songs of all time, it is still one of the greatest. No questions asked. Period. (just look at the video!)
    • 3. Plush by Stone Temple Pilots
      This is just one of those songs that you have goosebumps for the whole way through.
    • 2. Tonight, Tonight by The Smashing Pumpkins
      One of the greatest songs ever. How many other bands can write songs incorporating 31 piece string orchestras and still rock the house?
    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
      No questions asked.

    There were so, so many songs to pick from, and a lot of great songs were missed by some great bands like Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails, REM, Radiohead, Bush, Foo Fighters, Green Day, White Zombie, etc. And this is simply one person's opinion so please do not get fired up over my selections.
