      "Under the bridge" has been done to death.

      Great tune but what the hell is Weiland talking about.
    • 7. Runaway Train by Soul Asylum
      powerful tune.
    • 6. Spiderwebs by No Doubt
      Catchy music.........smart lyrics.
    • 5. Crossroads by Bone Thugs and Harmony
      Great harmonies from Cleveland boys.
    • 4. One Week by Bare Naked Ladies
      I hate when people sing this in that car commercial.
    • 3. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
      Really the quintessential #1 90s tune.
    • 2. Only God Knows Why by Kid Rock
      Kid Rock and dwarf get deep.

      Great guitar. Great catchy reggae rhythm. Great voice. Funny lyrics.

      one of my favourite and most memorable dance tunes i dont care if no one else like it!!

      lots of people slag Oasis off but there is no denying this is a fantastic song and one of the best of the nineties- 95 if i remember correctly

      not the greatest song but just very catchy making it stand out to me

      One of the greatest video's to go along with an all time classic.

      The most underlooked, underatted cd of all time...blues, soul, rock, jazz, punk, and everything else all incorporated...The first single cant change me..was the worst song of the cd..if that tells you anything

Though not even my favorite song of them, this one just happens to be the one everyone likes..and i know soundgarden has been on 3 times but..they where the best band of the 90's..thats why when they broke up..rock died...notice backstreet boys and all the other junk started around then...

      Immediately after thinking this song I can recall the way the nineties felt. Isolation, materialistic, artificial, and meloncholy.

      My favorite Nirvana song. It is a music embodiment of my ex-girlfriend.

      Full of anger and isolation. It makes me recall high school.
    • 7. Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley
      Probably one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Makes me recall biblical stories and how they correlate with my life.

      This song makes me recall the memories of the fighting with my parents...College.
    • 5. Never is a Promise by Fiona Apple
      This song is truly beautiful from someone who is usually very angry. You can almost taste Fiona's Manic Depression through the notes of this song.

      The assemblige of this song is amazing. It makes you feel like you are in a broken down crackhouse.
    • 3. A Long December by The Counting Crows
      It fills the void of winter and the often shallowness of life.
    • 2. 1*15*96 by The Ataris
      This song is full of despair yet catchy. It is the perfect soundtrack to a long distance relationship or a depressed day.
    • 1. Standing Outside a Broken Phonebooth by Primitive Radio Gods
      The most simplistic yet multilayerd song I have ever heard. So much depth and so much disconnection.

    To sum up the nineties listent to Mazzy Star, REM, Weezer, STP, Nirvana, Marylin Manson, Smashing Pumpkins, and The Samples.
