- 10. Losing My Religion by REM
My most listened to song, not what I had thought would be. I'll never forget what all I have done while listening to this song.
- 9. No Rain by Blind Melon
These guys could've been great, but at least we got one great song out of them, it's a shame what happened.
- 8. All In the Family by Korn
I know it's different, but it's just a great song, without the video. The whole album is good, but this made them, whether for good or bad.
- 7. Driven by Incubus
This is the first song I ever heard from Incubus, and I've loved them ever since. YOu have to be strong and not have any regrets when you look back. YOu don't need to worry about tomorrow, you'll deal with it when it becomes today.
- 6. Rock Bottom by Eminem
The best song from Eminem, not the most popular, but the greatest from this decade. He speaks his mind and he's right for doing so, and thank gooness or we would never had heard this song.
- 5. Good Riddance by Green Day
My favorite punk-rock song ever. Anytime that I feel my life cann't go right, I turn to thise one. If you ever look back at your life you should be able to say that you made the best choice, or that you learned something from it because when you are old, memories and choices are all you really have and they should be worthy of you.
- 4. Free Falling by Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers
A great overall song with lyrics, voice, and instruments. This is my favorite to listen to after a bad hit in life.
- 3. Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers
The song tells us how we are all fragile and need to be helped. Sometimes we just need to step away from everything and see what's going on in our lives, listen to our surroundings.
- 2. Freshman by Verve Pipe
The one song that I think deals with the confusing thoughts you experience as a teenager, sadness for the death, guilt for not stopping it, happiness for still being alive, and confusion for how to deal with it all.
- 1. Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins
None of these are in order but this song is the first to come to mind. When I think of my favorite song, this is probably it.
Some good times, some bad times, but isn't that life? Enjoy yours, these artists tell the best stories in their songs, almost prophetic in my life.

just dont get it, can you learn to accept is or no your so pathedic,(not im order cause i dont know what he says before copesitic) i thought this was a nirvana song when i was real young. took me a while to find it because i had not heard of these guys.
There are a lot of good lists here, from people who know the 90's, however, anyone who includes and boy bands in a 90's list is either a girl (whom if you like boy bands you lived in the other 90's), a homo(which is wrong anyway), or 12 years old(and you didnt really live in the 90's). A few people here need to realize that the 90's did not start in 1998. Sorry for ranting, but I know I speak for a lot of people out there who do not like crappy music.

- 9. Stay by Lisa Loeb
- 8. Take A Bow by Madonna

By: Andy
- 10. Tonight, Tonight by Smashing Pumpkins
Great song, the orchestra really puts feeling into this song. The video is one that is original, and should be recognized. Smashing pumpkins are awesome!
- 9. Bulls on Parade by Rage Against The Machine
Great song. Pumps me up so much. I put this song on here more because of the band and how they deserve to be on here. I have their picture entitled "Nuns with Guns", and it is probably my favorite picture, so they are on this countdown.
- 8. Shoots and Ladders by Korn
Great rock song based on nursery rhymes. This song is a great one at that from an all time amazing band. Korn is awesome at tours, and this song blew me away when i saw it live. That is why i included it on my countdown.
- 7. Freshmen by The Verve Pipe
Great song - Great band Haven't heard much from them since, and that is to bad because they had a great hit. Don't anyone consider them a one hit wonder, they still have time to come back, even though they won't.
- 6. Free Fallin' by Tom Petty
Awesome song from "The Man"! He has such an inspiring way to get his messages across, and this song is one of his ways of magic.
- 5. Finnegans Wake by Dropkick Murpheys
I cannot believe that no one has mentioned the Dropkick Murpheys on here! They are awesome. 10 times better than "yo yo yo mofo lets rap dawg kick it wit my homes" RAP sucks and anyone that disagrees sucks too! They have no talent - just a bunch of black guys or( white guys trying to be black )with missing teeth and "bling bling" around their neck and band-aids under their eyes. I could be a goddam rapper, and thats just sad!
- 4. Heart Shaped Box by Nirvana
Nirvana has alot of talent, and I wish i oculd put them in a higher spot on this mini countdown, but there are just a couple songs that i find better than this one. So, even though they are at the 4th spot, I dedicate it to the loss of Kurt. Many still miss you. RIP
- 3. Better Man by Pearl Jam
What else is there to say about one of / if not the greatest band of all time. This song reflects their true personality and that's why I love it. Buy their new album!
- 2. Tribute by Tenacious D
"This is not the greatest song in the world, this is just a tribute" For all of you who do not listen to this great band, I feel sorry for you. You truely are missing out on something great!
- 1. Stinkfist by Tool
I don't know why, but this songs pumps me up so much. I lift to it all the time. Tool is the greatest example of true rock music, not pussy rap. And "stinkfist" is the best song and that's why it is number 1.
To all you who think that rap was the highlights of the 90's, you better think again. No black rapper going "yo yo yo" with gold teeth and "bling bling" is a highlight in my book. It makes me want to puke. And white guys trying to be black, you guys are just funny cause you look like shit. And anyone who thinks that Ricky Martin should be on this countdown is a queer. VIVA LOS MUSICA DE ROCK!!!
