Irelands biggest group and one the best live acts next to Pearl jam, a fantasic Song.

This is an excellent track that has all the right angles covered to make this a very interesting death metal track.

The best song Madonna had in years, this is one of the nineties best pop songs.
    • 5. seasons in the abyss by Slayer
Forget Metallica, Slayer are the real masters of trash metal and this is a classic track that had an excellent video.
    • 4. November Rain by Guns n roses
One of the biggest bands of the 90's, well early nineties and late 80's.Its a pity these guys concentrated on getting some albums together instead of all the bs, they should have at least 7 studio albums and all we get is 2......Sad! (i classed use your illusion as one album and lies is an ep and spagetti was all covers, so don't qualify).
    • 3. Copkiller by Bodycount
A kick ass speed metal track that caused quite a stir back in 92, Rock on Ice!!!!

    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
What can i Say, the anthem of the nineties, love 'em or hate them this was back in 1991 and is still as powerful as ever.Excellence at its greatest!

Grunge was the best thing in the nineties, we had bands like smashing pumkins, blind melon, soundgarden and talented guys like vedder and cobain and super bands like Guns n roses, Metallica , things can only be better in the next millenium..I hope! (doubt it)

As many times as I listen to this song, it never gets old. It has a powerful message if you listen to the lyrics.

    By: Ryan Smith
    • 10. Right Here by SWV
The only woman band on the list. Forget Destiny's child, TLC, or others.. this song is executed perfectly. The beat matches perfectly with their great voices. Probably their 1 hit wonder, and one I won't forget.
    • 9. Iris by Goo Goo Dolls
Great acoustical song. I think this song has some of the best lyrics ever and so its probably my favorite romantic song
    • 8. The Offspring by The Kids Aren't Alright
This song pumps me up everytime. Probably the #2 party song behind "Even Flow". Also the energy from the band is so great that it couldnt be left out of the top 10
    • 7. Push by Matchbox 20
These guys deserve some real awards. They have pulled out 2 albums with hit after hit after hit after...well you know...of course if "Push" was the only good song on their first album, it still would be great.
    • 6. Unforgiven by Metallica
This song gives me goosebumps everytime...its that good. The first part acoustical could be a song by itself, but when they get louder, I know why its such a great song.
    • 5. Californication by Red Hot Chili Peppers
At first I didnt think much of this song...but now its one of my favorites. Red Hot Chili Peppers may be the most original band Ive ever seen and so they are one of my favorites
    • 4. Come As You Are by Nirvana
Extremely catchy song. It really didnt matter whether it was this song or "Smells Like Teen Spirit", but the difference was that this one is more catchy. Definetely one the best bands of the 90's..too bad it didnt last longer
    • 3. Losing My Religion by R.E.M.
What an original! The instruments and singer go along so perfectly in this song. Thats why only R.E.M. could sing and play this song so well.
    • 2. Even Flow by Pearl Jam
If I want a song to start any party, this is it. 30 years from now I will be jamming with this song...its that damn good.
    • 1. Time by Hootie & The Blowfish
My favorite band, my favorite album, my favorite song. Songs like this is why they have sold over 25 million albums total and it shows that even the simplest of tunes last forever.

This was a tough list for me because I love so many songs that it would be difficult to make even a top 50 list. I almost put 2 Nirvana and 2 Pearl Jam in, but I felt there had to be 10 different bands instead. :)
