  WOW! How catchy can a song possibly be? George Michael is just a great performer. I know this song is totally POP but its just too good to not make my top ten.

  What a tight band. This group shows how serious they can play in this humerous yet serious ode to the great(yet total FREAK) Mr. Brian Wilson. Lyin in bed a' just like a' Brian Wilson did...
• 7. Staring at the Sun(live version)/Popheart EP by U2
  Two guitars, two voices, and one stage. Bono & The Edge sound absolutely fenominal in this 'unplugged' rock hit turned into a soul searching ballad. Only these two could make magic like this happen.
• 6. Let Me Go/? by Cake
  Cool intelligent music. These guys dip into more music genres than just about any band I can think of. Keep up the good work.
• 5. Jeremy/Ten by Pearl Jam
  Such a pivital & timelass song. Geat video also. Ten is by far PJ's most real albumn.
• 4. December/self titled sophmore albumn by Collective Soul
  What a well produced song & albumn. Rollins is a true composer & easily the Brian Wilson of this generation
• 3. Plush(acoustic version from Head Bangers Ball) by Stone Temple Pilots
  I can't stop listening to this song. Scott Weiland was cetainly @ his peak when he perfomed this song!
• 2. Wrong Number/Galore by The Cure
  A total barnburner by one of the best songwriters of the last 1/4 century. Check out the aucoustic version on there greatest hits albumn.
• 1. One/Achtung Baby by U2
  Probably the greatest ballad of all times by the greatest band of all times. Bono rocks!

There were so many great songs in the 90's I wish I could have included but here you have my top ten list.

  by far the most under rated band ever if anyone had actually went out, bought the cd, and listened to it they would have realized it was amazing

i just have to say that i absolutly HATE dave matthews he frickin sucks and so does creed but anyway there were so many great songs of the 90's to bad i can't list them all

  Great song by a great band that continues its Punk roots.

  This song was previously released on 1981 and re-recorded on 1991 to appear on a TV comercial in Belfast Ireland. It is best song ever made by the best band ever - Stiff Little Fingers

  a great tune...not to mention the lyrics "it only takes one tree to make a thousand matches, it only takes one match to burn a thousand trees"
• 2. Cry by The Mavis's
  this is a "perfect" pop song as described by some...very catchy
• 1. Motorcycle Drive By by Third Eye Blind
  yeah i m a big TEB fan...and this song will always remain one of the best i ever heard...a true classic

these songs are not rated in any order...just 10 of my favs when i look through my list of songs...i know the list doesnt include many true classics that made an impact on the music industry and songs of early nineties...but nonetheless...these 10 songs are simply great...sorry if some songs aren't exactly songs between 1990-1999...:)
