there were many great songs of the 90s, the best were from 1990-96. i just really hope that the list i saw with all backstreet boys songs was a joke!!!

yes... it's THE rebel song. I think is an ode to freedom, and the best song of the 90's, where anything fast, rebellion, disorder and loud noises where the main characteristics. What else could you ask for?? =D

A song with a really catchy chorus that is familiar to most everybody.

Rap song that ushered in today's rap/hip hop songs and Snoop Dogg.
- 7. Nookie by limpbizkit
A song that became an anthem for break-ups. I still don't see where the cookies part comes in but an awesome song none-the-less.
- 6. Enter Sandman by Metallica
One of Metallica's signature songs. Incredibly musical and the transition from the intro to the verse is the greatest moment in music... period.
- 5. This Ain't A Love Song by Bon Jovi
This is one of my favorite songs.
- 4. Loser by Beck
A really wierd song that only Beck could decipher. A classic that plays on the generational discomfort of being a "loser".
- 3. November Rain by Guns 'N' Roses
One of the greatest songs of all time from one of the greatest bands of all time. Just a great slow song.
- 2. Jeremy by Pearl Jam
The legendary song about a boy who shoots himself in front of his English class. The video is awesome and, mixed with one of the greatest voices of all time.
- 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
This song and band were the absolute pinnacle of the 90's. Kurt Cobain was one of the greatest songwriters and voices ever.
As you can tell, I'm all rock aside from Snoop Dogg.

Could never forget this song. It's hard to say whether this song is just as beatiful as #1, it just comes too close.

I couldn't decide between this one or Evenflow, but Betterman is a little more sentimental.
