Great song from the mid-90's. A lot of people don't recognize the name at first. It's in the movie "Angus."

I know this differs with the other songs I've mentioned. But she's a great artist. Her best song.

This song makes me think of the beach. It was popular when I was in Nags Head, NC. I like songs that bring back happier times when I was younger.

    • 9. Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers
With all the pre-fabracated music these days. Made to make money not music. A perfect example of a rare event, a band that started with nothing and through talent and hard work made themselves into something. Nuff said.
    • 8. You Oughta Know by Alanis Morissette
Alanis Morissette has won countless awards, has had the best-selling album by a female solo artist of all time. And it gave women everywhere the strength to tell that sorry ass excuse for a boyfriend to f**k off.
    • 7. Gin and Juice by Snoop Dogg
Introduction on a still huge rapper. And more importantly, the first rap song advocating safe sex during the the peak time of the mainstream media comming to the realization of the dangers of the AIDs/HIV virus.

I know who did it orignally, i believe it brought "rap-rock" into the mainstream.

    • 4. Buddy Holly by Weezer
The Blue Album didnt have one bad song on it. A quality lacking in almost all music today.
    • 3. So Much To Say by Dave Matthews Band
Breathed life back into the horn section in rock bands.(Strings too)
    • 2. Longview by Green Day
Took the "stuck up asshole" factor out of punk rock started all emo type as well as all the other types of punk today.
    • 1. Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana
Shaped the rock we listen to today.

Music is ..... music. there's no 1- 10. Theres only Good, eh, and Bad. Brittany Spears and those types of people are hot but they cant write or sing, THAT IS NOT MUSIC. Be your own person, like it because you relate. Like it because you're moved. Like it "cause it got a good beat". Dont like it cause your friends do.
