- 10. Surfacing by Slipknot
This is a good anthem for teenagers. It is basically saying, "I don't care what you think. Leave me alone." That's a good message.
- 9. How I Could Just Kill A Man by Cypress Hill
Cypress Hill kicks ass.
- 8. Five Minutes Alone by Pantera
I like the guitar on this one.
- 7. Know Your Enemy by Rage Against The Machine
This is another of Rage's best songs. Their message of defiance is really powerful.
- 6. Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers by Primus
good song. Good lyrics.
- 5. Revolution Is My Name by Pantera
Pantera just rocks. There's no two ways around it. This is their best song.
- 4. Freak on A Leash by Korn
One of their best songs. It has a good bass line
- 3. Sgt. Baker by Primus
I really like everything about this song, not a flaw in it.
- 2. The Power of Equality by Red Hot Chili Peppers
This is a good song because of its funkiness and the lyrics.
- 1. Take The Power Back by Rage Against The Macine
This is their best song and the best song of the 90's. It is really funky, it has a good beat, and the guitar solo kicks ass. Good lyrics too.
I probably have more songs I forgot about, but that is something of what I liked in the 90's.

Great song, great lyrics and great video. Guns N'Roses is my favorite band ever. They have many other great songs, but this one can be liked even by those who don't appreciate rock.

I gather this song to be about racism in the south. This is another song destined for greatness. It was well written and is something that all americans should still think about when it comes to race relations. In about 7 lines this song describes racism in the south during the time of the civil rights movement.

Off Blood Sugar Sex Magic once again just a great album that will be on the radio forever. A passionate song about a man trying to find love.
- 6. Lightning Crahses by Live
Once again a great album but this is a passionate song about a father whitnissing the miricle of birth. It was probly the most passionate song on the list.
- 5. Enter Sandman by Mettalica
Another great song from a great album i see a trend here. No matter how much they play this song it still rocks and will be on the radio forever.

This was released in Dec of 99 so it counts. Worst song on greatest album since Nevermind and Ten and the Black Album.

I hate Pop but this was a good Ballad.

This song predicted the future. Its a profacy this was a song about school shooting 8 years before the first one happened.

Its no comparison. Nirvana made the 90's not suck! they kicked all the junk off the radio and made music art again.
The best stuff came in the early 90's its all crap music in todays day and age. we really need a rebel someone who is going to make the 00's not suck like kurt Cobain did. Until that happens we are stuck with the backstreet boys and nsync
