- 10. The Dolphins Cry by Live
This song is amazing. The lyrics are amazing and it sounds unreal. By far the best song of the 90's.
- 9. The World I Know by Collective Soul
The music video is unreal. The song is classic, definitly one of the best.
- 8. Counting Blue Cars by Dishwala
This is another great song. I love it, I'm not sure what it's all about, but it's extremely cool.
- 7. No Leaf Clover by Metallica
Very cool song, it's more of a rock song, but I love it.
- 6. Higher by Creed
This song about lucid dreaming is one of the best out there.
- 5. Fields Of Gold by Sting
Great song, written very well.
- 4. All Over You by Live
One of the best songs around, I don't know else to say.
- 3. Goodnight My Angle by Billy Joel
I think it's also known as Lullabye. It's very nice.

The song reaks with sweetness.

Smooth but fierce rap jam that heralded the stocking cap fashion trend. For real kid!

Simply brilliant song craftsmanship, both lyrically and musically.

When my friend was in jail back in '92, he had a Jamaican cellmate who went nuts for this song whenever it played on the radio. Nuff said.

I like the Offspring, Green Day and Rancid, but this is my hands down favorite 90's punks song.

Elegantly chaotic soundscape that never gets old. A must-hear for any true alt-rock fan.

The initial strike of alternative rock in the 90's. Pulverized shallow metal and teen pop. Here's to history repeating itself.
I know it's early, but my hope is that at least some of these songs would make it on a best of 90's rock CD sometime in the future. Along with anything by Mr. 90's himself....Morrisey!

It's so hard to choose 10 songs out of such a great decade, and there are so many others worth mentioning, Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana (their only good one), Miss You Love by Silverchair, Take A Look Around by Limp Bizkit (their only good one), anything by Matchbox Twenty, Truly Madly Deeply and To The Moon And Back by Savage Garden, Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion, Blow Up The Pokies by The Whitlams, Get Set by Taxiride, Everything You Want by Vertical Horizon, Come Out And Play by The Offspring, Higher by Creed.... the list just goes on and on.
