I really like Bush and in this song they just outdo themselves. This song can be replaced w/ Glicerine or Come Down, whichever you like better.

This song actually made me cry a couple of times after breakups. But I'm glad there are songs like this one for people w/ lovers.
- 7. Again by JANET JACKSON
Not my favorite artist, but this song just gives me goosebumps when I hear it, beautiful melody and nice lyrics.
- 6. Leave it alone by MARY'S DANISH
They are no more. Julie's Blanket is actually a better song, but they released it in the 80's, so consolation on #6.
- 5. Moving by THE LONDON SUEDE
They were known only as Suede when this song came out, not many people have heard it. Great lead singer.
- 4. Song 2 by BLUR
This song makes me get in my car and go as fast as I can go, although the lyrics make no sense.
- 3. Smells Like Teen Spirit by NIRVANA
Have to give them credit for creating an anthem.
- 2. Crush # 1 by GARBAGE
From the Romeo and Juliet Soundtrack. The emotions expressed in this song are unrivaled.
- 1. Street Spirit by RADIOHEAD
The best song from the most epic band nowadays.
I'm sure I forgot some of my favorites while writing this list. What it was a great decade of great music, 10 songs will do no justice. Hate to leave RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, BEASTY BOYS, MATCHBOX 20, PRETENDERS, MADONNA, INXS, 311, PENNYWISE, and so many others out. Sorry kids!

Again, I just had to include it...probably one of the worst songs they did lyrically, but everyone just gobbled it up.

One of the 'harder' songs they've released, doesn't really have much meaning that can't be derived from the title.

Looks at a relationship in deep historical perspective...a really neat song.
- 6. Loser Makes Good by everclear
Denounces the college life, and the lives of all the 'higher-ups', saying they shouldn't pity the 'lower-class'.
- 5. Father of Mine by everclear
Not even close to their best work, but, it was a hit with a big crowd.
- 4. Babytalk by everclear
A lot of clever allusions to the 1924 presidential election and its impact on farmers...kind of hidden, but that's what makes it so interesting!
- 3. Queen of the Air by everclear
Probably their best written song, but the instrumentals are weak on this one.
- 2. White Men in Black Suits by everclear
A touching song about the highs and lows of teenage love.
- 1. Amphetamine by everclear
A really socially conscious song about the demands of living in a utopian society.

The 2 big boys of hip hop who basically killed each other in a gang war was Biggie Smalls and 2Pac. Biggie even though not as good as 2Pac made a classic that would be played and never gettin tired of even years after it was first made

U2 was pprobably the biggest band of the 80's, and saw their success get huger when they released this song in the 90's.

Kurt was a genius songwriter who made classic songs left and right and this was one of his best and most popular.

The most successful rapper of all time had made a classic hip hop song for the new breed of rap called 'gangsta rap' and would be later killed in a gangster related death, which made the song even more of a classic
